At the Hospital

Well, here I am again, sitting in this chair being infused with Erbitux. They say I will be out of here in an hour! Hurray!

Ok, are you guys ready for what prayer has done?????? Blood levels up from .07 on Wednesday to .09 on Thursday to.... 5.3 yesterday! When they gave me the news, I am sorry to tell you that I was surprised. Now I ask you didn't we pray? Why is it we ask God for a miracle and when we get it we are surprised?

This is the infusion that I will be getting for 6 more weeks every Wednesday. It is not chemo but the anti-body that will blast the tumors. Next week it will be the chemo plus the antibody which is what I took a couple of weeks ago.

Thank you so much for praying for our family! Only in Eternity can repay you!

Arlene,
I don't know you but Sara says to pray so I pray!! Praying for your continued strength to handle these meds. And yes, miracles still happen and why we question when we've prayed and prayed I wish i knew! Recently my dad was in the hospital for a week or better with unexplained bleeding. Test after test showed nothing. Many people prayed, bleeding stopped and we know nothing...except God STILL works miracles!!
So with that, we are praying for that healing miracle for you!

Dear Arlene.
I just got up for a moment to get a drink and all I was thinking about was my dad and today and that he has to go to Hamilton.
I looked at my computer and there you were!

It was that Sara'a idea to get that army gathered to pray for you!
She is a real trooper!

When I read how you wanted to pray for anybody who needs it, I was going to come to you right away and there in your second comment, there you were offering1
Thank you so much Arlene!

"Before they call, I will answer."

How can i ever thank Mirs. Mac. Miss Patty and Sara for ever sending me your way!
My three "stepping stones"!
....Love Terry

I will in the meantime be praying for you too Arlene!

Well, Arlene, that antibiotic is rough on you isn't it. You have at least two sources of encouragement:
- the company report that your symptoms mean the med is working; and
- all the prayers.
Terry steered me here via Sarah.

So you have Texas sized prayers from here. I've 'bookmarked' your blog with my Christian women and will keep checking on you.

Again, my prayers and best wishes.
