You probably think I am going to post about Easter Eggs, right? Wrong! What I am posting about is going out to breakfast this morning and getting egg shells in my poached eggs. Egh! That is terribly gross and disgusting. I couldn't eat another bite. The waitress apologized and said that she can't eat after getting egg shells in her eggs either.
My question to you is--do you often get bad food in restaurants or is it just me?

Hello!
Very good posting.
Thank you - Have a good day!!!
Thank you Professor Howdy!
I remember once in 1985, I went to a ChiChi's Restaurant with my group of Medical Technogist Interns. We were celebrating passing our boards. I ordered some kind of chicken dish and upon receiving it, I was sure that there was some type of worm embedded in the meat. I called the waitress, who called the manager, who replaced my meal and then gave me a coupon for a free dinner. Of course, you have to consider that I had just taken my boards which included MANY questions on parisitology and what kind of grubby things coexist in our food and bodies. Looking back, I'm sure that what I saw was a piece of bone or something.
You always get bad food. I have never seen such eating out diasters. Maybe you should just stay at home and eat.
Ugh, just the thought of getting bad food is making me nauseous, that is disgusting and I wish Deb hadn't gone there in her comment, talk about gross!! lol!!
Unfortunately, Deb, I remember that restaurant and would't doubt that, even though I agree with LL&L that it's disgusting!
How did I miss this post? Deb, you always have a story to top all stories!! Yep, it seems like we get quite a few bad meals when we eat out - it's not even that much of a treat anymore - except for the part of being served and cleaned up after! I really don't trust the cleanliness of restaurants at all!
So... when do you want to go out for lunch?
Let me know what day is good for you. I have to have a treatment tomorrow at the hospital so any day other than that.
not often, but my ex-husband used to always have soemthing wrong w/ his food. We could get the same thing, but his would somehow be bad.
I think finding a hair in food is worse than an eggshell. Hi Arelen, I noticed you dropped by my (currently pathetic) blog and that you live in Michigan. Are you friends with Pat (or related)? She's one of my "bestest" cyber buddies and I've even set up a most special guest room where she can rock my new grandbaby and sip tea ... if only she'd really come over for a visit. Glad to meet you. You have a wonderfully uplifting place here.
Thank you so much, Mrs. Mac for the comments about my blog.
Yes, Pat and I are friends and have been for honestly longer than I can remember. She's a very special lady in my life, as are her two daughters and the rest of her family.
I have 4 grandbabies and another on the way in October. They are so sweet and exciting! Enjoy!
